Terms of service

1. Agreement and acceptance

1.1 This User Service Agreement (the "Agreement") is a binding contract between you and gjds.net ("we", "us" or the "Platform") governing your use of the Platform software and data services. You should read this Agreement in full before registering an account, purchasing a package or using the services in any manner.

1.2 Clauses concerning disclaimers, limitations of liability and permitted use materially affect your rights; please read them with particular care. If anything is unclear, contact us through the channel in Clause 13 before accepting.

1.3 If you accept this Agreement on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are duly authorised; the Agreement then binds both you and that organisation.

2. Services

2.1 The Platform provides querying and exporting of global customs trade data and national pesticide registration data, report generation, free tools (unit conversion, registration-number validation, ingredient coverage), and batch export and API capabilities as enabled by your package.

2.2 The functions, quotas and limits available to you follow the package and order you purchase; your order is the sole source of truth for member entitlements.

2.3 We may optimise the services as the business develops, but such changes shall not reduce entitlements already granted within your paid period.

3. Account registration and security

3.1 You should register with true, accurate and complete information, and keep it up to date.

3.2 Your account (including any sub-accounts you create) is for use only by you and personnel authorised within your organisation, and you are responsible for all activity under it.

3.3 Keep your credentials safe. If your account is compromised, leaked or otherwise at risk, notify us at once and we will assist with freezing and recovery.

3.4 The creator of an enterprise master account is responsible for administering sub-accounts and their use.

4. Packages, payment and renewal

4.1 Prices are quoted in CNY and published on the ordering page. Monthly billing covers 30 days per month; yearly billing is charged at ten months' price for twelve months of access, with identical entitlements. Entitlements take effect on successful payment and end at 24:00 on the expiry date if not renewed.

4.2 Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time, with entitlements retained to the end of the billing period; yearly plans are non-refundable within the billing period except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

4.3 If auto-renew is enabled, the same package and cycle are charged automatically before expiry; you may disable auto-renew in account settings at any time.

4.4 Invoices may be requested after an order completes; the invoice amount equals the amount actually paid, and invoice details follow the taxpayer identification number you submitted and validated.

5. Data sources and legitimacy

5.1 Platform data is collected through lawful channels from registers and approved-product lists published by national pesticide authorities and from national import-export customs filings, and is aggregated after parsing, cleaning and governance. We do not collect or provide data from non-public sources.

5.2 Every record carries its source country and collection timestamp, and exported files repeat this information in the footer so traceability survives internal circulation.

5.3 Data that the source country's law restricts from redistribution is available for on-site query only and is automatically removed from exports; you may not obtain, copy or redistribute such data by any means.

5.4 Enterprise names, trademarks and product names in the data belong to their respective rights holders; we use them solely for identification and retrieval matching, and no licence of any kind is granted.

5.5 Collected data has been de-identified; we do not provide information that directly identifies any natural person.

6. Permitted use

6.1 You may use Platform data only for your own or your organisation's internal business research, registration study and operational decision-making.

6.2 Without our prior written consent you may not: (a) resell, rent, redistribute or otherwise provide Platform data to third parties; (b) use crawlers, scripts or other automation to harvest data in bulk; (c) bypass, disable or technically exceed quotas, rate limits or access controls; (d) use Platform data to build data products or services that compete with the Platform; (e) remove, alter or obscure rights notices or source attribution in the data.

6.3 Free tools and public statistics endpoints are for reasonable human use; anomalous calling patterns (high frequency, abnormal concurrency, unusual patterns) may be restricted temporarily or permanently.

6.4 Breach of this chapter entitles us to suspend or terminate the services and ban the accounts concerned immediately, and to pursue remedies under law; serious cases will be reported to competent authorities as required by law.

7. Data accuracy and disclaimers

7.1 Platform data is produced through combined machine and manual governance. We make no express or implied warranty as to completeness, accuracy, timeliness or fitness for any particular purpose.

7.2 For registration compliance, customs declarations and market-access determinations, rely on the official publications of the competent authority in the source country. Platform data is reference material, not legal, compliance or business advice; you should evaluate it independently and make your own decisions.

7.3 We are not liable for interruption, delay or gaps caused by force majeure, changes at source websites, government restrictions, network or system failure, provided reasonable efforts have been made.

7.4 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total fees you actually paid for the services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim event.

8. Intellectual property

8.1 The Platform's software, interface design, trademarks, and the structure and arrangement of the compiled data belong to us or the respective rights holders; you receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use them.

8.2 Content you upload, import or submit remains yours; you grant us the processing rights necessary to provide the services.

9. Confidentiality

9.1 Each party shall keep the other party's non-public information confidential; this obligation lasts until the information lawfully becomes public or three (3) years after termination of this Agreement.

9.2 The obligation does not apply to information that was public when received, independently developed by the receiving party, or required to be disclosed by law or a competent authority.

10. Breach and termination

10.1 If you breach this Agreement we may suspend or terminate the services after notifying you by in-product notice or email; if you fail to pay amounts due after a demand notice, we may likewise suspend the services.

10.2 After termination you will lose access to your account and related data; you may export content you are entitled to export before termination takes effect, except records that law requires us to retain.

11. Changes to this Agreement

11.1 We may revise this Agreement as laws or the business change; material changes will be announced in-product at least thirty (30) days in advance.

11.2 Revised terms take effect from the date stated in the notice; if you do not accept them, you may stop using the services and close your account.

12. Governing law and disputes

12.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.

12.2 Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring suit at the people's court with jurisdiction at the place where the Platform operator is domiciled.

13. Contact

13.1 If you have questions, comments or complaints about this Agreement, or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at sales@gjds.net; we will respond within a reasonable period.
